What we collect
When you contact us for a quote we collect the information you give us — typically: your name, phone number, email address, the address the work is to be carried out at, and any photos or notes you provide about the job.
Why we collect it
Solely to quote for, schedule, carry out and invoice the work you're enquiring about. We have a legitimate business interest in being able to respond to enquiries and run our business.
How long we keep it
We keep customer records for as long as we're trading and dealing with you, and for a further six years after our last interaction — in line with HMRC's record-keeping requirements for businesses.
Who we share it with
Nobody outside the company, except where strictly necessary to deliver the service or comply with the law — for example, sharing your address with a council tree officer when applying for TPO consent on your behalf, or with our accountant for bookkeeping. We do not pass your details to any third-party marketers.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to ask us what information we hold about you, to correct it, and (subject to our legal obligations to retain records) to ask us to delete it. Email info@twistedtreesurgery.co.uk and we'll respond within 30 days.
